Chandni Chowk to China (aka CC2C) movie is inspired from Akshay Kumar's life. It is well-known that that Akshay was a chef in Bangkok before he went on to become Khiladi No. 1 in Bollywood.
Akshay moves away from his favourite heroine Katrina Kaif and joins Deepika Padukone for this film, directed by Nikhil Advani. Simultaneously, Katrina moves closer to Deepika's beau Ranbir Kapoor for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
Earlier slated for a Diwali release, CC2C will now hit screens in January 2009.
